Burglaries No Longer A Police Priority
Burglaries No Longer A Police Priority
It’s true, that burglaries no longer a Police priority. This morning I watched Victoria Derbyshire’s news programme on the BBC.
She had a studio interview with Sara Thornton, Chair of the National Police Chiefs Council, about the changes to policing that we must expect.
It is upsetting news for victims of burglary as it will not be investigated with any urgency. Cases of burglary will not be a priority to attend to as quickly as they have been in the past and “they may attend to collect evidence”, does that mean that they may not attend at all?
Good news for the burglars, bad news for victims, you’re on your own!
